Onafhankelijk bestuurder bij Chapter Zero

Chapter Zero Brussels (represented by Climate Governance asbl/vzw) is the Directors' Climate Forum aiming at:

  • Enabling Non-Executive Directors across Belux and the European Union to engage effectively in a strategic debate about the climate challenge for their businesses, and how they will contribute to achieving the EU’s target of net-zero emissions;
  • Being the voice of the global Chapter Zero and World Economic Forum Climate Governance Initiative towards key officials at the EU Commission, Council and Parliament

We are part of a Network of Chapters being launched under the WEF Climate Governance Initiative around the globe in order to provide board members with a climate forum and the related seminars, resources and trainings. Chapter Zero Brussels is active in the Belux, and throughout the European Union, in those countries where a national chapter zero doesn't exist yet. Chapter Zero Brussels had its inaugural conference early March with a refreshing panel including European Commissioner Reynders (Justice), J-M Jancovici (Prof. MINES ParisTech, President The Shift project), Natacha Lippens (Chair, Finasucre group), Jaap Winter (Director Randstad, Prof. in Corp. Governance Insead and VU Amsterdam).
